Zach Zobrist has always been passionate about fitness, but his journey took a transformative turn in 2017 when he joined his first CrossFit gym. What started as a personal pursuit quickly grew into a passion for helping others discover the benefits of health and wellness. Zach realized that fitness wasn't just about his own improvement—it was an opportunity to create a supportive environment where others could thrive.

As the head coach of Awaken Fitness Collective, Zach excels at building community, encouraging others, and fostering a space where everyone feels welcome and empowered. Alongside his wife Amelia, who leads the Well-Women classes, they share a commitment to health, wellness, and creating a positive impact on the lives of others.

Together, with his wife Amelia, they are not only dedicated coaches but also proud parents to a vibrant family of seven kids. Their shared passion for family, fitness and community is at the heart of Awaken Fitness Collective, where they strive to make every workout the best hour of your day.

Amelia Zobrist

Meet Amelia Zobrist, Head Coach of Well-Women. Amelia's journey into health and wellness began in 2017 when she started experiencing symptoms of an autoimmune disorder. Determined to make lasting changes, she founded an online community that helped over 100 women improve their health through 10-day challenges. Seeing the impact she had on others inspired Amelia to pursue certification as a health coach.

Now, as the head coach of Well-Women at Awaken Fitness Collective, Amelia brings her expertise and passion to every class. She’s also working on her Pelvic Floor Certification to become a Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, further enhancing her ability to support women’s health.

Amelia’s strengths in skill mastery, clear communication, and a relentless drive make her an exceptional leader. She also runs Irenic Culture & Co., a division of Awaken focused on women’s health coaching and specialized fitness classes for women. Laura Hughes

Laura Hughes is a cornerstone of Awaken Fitness Collective, with a wealth of experience dating back to 1991. With over a dozen certifications under her belt, Laura has a remarkable ability to tailor workouts for every fitness level, ensuring that everyone feels supported and challenged.

Beyond her fitness expertise, Laura is also a seasoned vocal instructor and theatre music director, showcasing her diverse talents. She balances her personal life with grace, managing family responsibilities and supporting her hard-working spouse while continuously fostering wellness in others.

You can catch Laura in Tuesday’s Well-Women class, leading REFORM Pilates, or occasionally on Saturdays, where she brings her unique blend of inspiration, expertise, and community spirit. Laura embodies Courage, Community, and Leadership, making her an invaluable member of the AWKN community.

Sandy Dietrich

Sandy Dietrich brings boundless energy and a wealth of life experience to Awaken Fitness Collective. As a devoted wife, mother of four, and grandmother to ten, Sandy deeply values faith, family, and community. She believes our bodies are precious gifts, a philosophy that aligns perfectly with Awaken's approach to fitness.

Sandy is passionate about staying active and pain-free, and her diverse workout routine reflects her dedication to overall well-being. Her commitment to fostering community and accountability makes her an exceptional coach for all ages. Sandy emphasizes health as a collective journey, encouraging everyone to take part.

Kristin Stoller

Kristin is a dedicated wife, loving mother of three, part-time cosmetologist, and volunteer EMT. Her fitness journey began as a path to personal growth, driven by health challenges that highlighted the importance of movement and nutrition. For Kristin, exercise is more than just physical training—it’s a form of spiritual worship, a way to honor both life and body.

She believes that physical discipline enhances spiritual discipline, and vice versa, creating a balanced approach to well-being. Kristin is committed to helping you become stronger and healthier, providing guidance that extends beyond the gym to enrich your life and those around you.

Maddie Dietrich

Meet Maddie Dietrich, Our Well-Women Coach. Maddie is a dedicated believer, wife, and mother to a 1.5-year-old, with nearly two years of experience in functional fitness. Though new to Eureka, she’s passionate about treating our bodies as the temples they are, believing that staying healthy is a blessing.

Maddie works out to be stronger in her everyday life, noticing how consistent exercise boosts her energy and ability to love others well. She’s excited to meet women where they are, helping them feel empowered, strong, and healthy. Join Maddie in our Well-Women classes to discover the confidence that comes with feeling your best!

Tara Forgette

Meet Tara Forgette, a Missouri native who, along with her husband and two daughters, made Eureka their home two years ago. Tara’s love for fitness has been a lifelong journey, starting with sports in her youth and continuing through college. She’s also taught cycling and senior yoga before embracing motherhood.

Her passion for physical strength and discipline grew even stronger after being introduced to CrossFit, which has been a huge blessing in her life. Beyond fitness, Tara enjoys spending time in God’s creation and fellowshipping with her faith community. As an avid reader and lifelong learner, she’s always seeking new ways to grow and share her knowledge.

Tara is excited to help others find joy in working out and guide them in disciplining their bodies for overall health. Join her in our Well-Women classes and experience her encouraging and uplifting coaching style!

Jessica Hodel

Meet Jessica Hodel, Coach of our Tumbling Class in Eureka, IL. Jessica brings a lifelong love of tumbling and years of experience to Awaken Fitness Collective. She discovered her passion at just 5 years old, spending 13 years mastering the sport and 8 years teaching others. Despite a sledding accident in 2018 that required two major knee surgeries, Jessica's enthusiasm for tumbling never waned. Now, she’s back and eager to inspire the next generation of young athletes.

Jessica is a devoted wife and mother, married to her husband Max for 5 years, with two young children. Alongside her coaching role, she’s also a skilled graphic designer, balancing her creative work with her commitment to fitness and family.
